ROUGH BAND

The Rough Band is long form collaboration between O (Mark Offord) and Merry Grey (Robert Pacitti). Their shared ethos is informed by folk: lore, music, and people. Self-proclaimed landscape perverts, their heads, hearts and hands are dirty with the lived experiences of psychedelia and performance, blending the pastoral with protest, punk, and easy listening. The Rough Band have made ritual events of all shapes and sizes, each inviting active participation. They have been called, ‘Sobbing Gristle‘, ‘the Ant and Dec of Death’ and ‘ultra woke, attention seeking, narcissistic hippies’. The Rough Band is currently a sleeper cell.
